What to do if you have a product fault during the warranty period
Each product has its own unique warranty claim procedure. If your heating or cooling system is experiencing an issue inside of the warranty period, your first step will be to contact your installer. Reputable installers, such as Heritage Hydronic Heating, Will assist you in inspecting your unit and facilitating the appropriate warranty process with the supplier. If you are unable to contact your installer, or don’t know who your installer is, contact the customer support team of the brand directly.
Each brand has their own warranty agents who can attend to your system and help get it running again. If your problem was caused by a manufacturing fault the repairs or replacement of your system will be at no cost to you. However, if the problem was not caused by a manufacturing fault, or if warranty conditions have not been upheld, a warranty call out by the supplier or installer may come with a fee. If the fault was caused by an installation error, the installer should cover the cost – assuming that they are contactable and still operating.
